TRU vs. Manitoba

I am not sure which school to choose between TRU and Manitoba. I live in Calgary and ultimately would like to work in Calgary in intellectual property law.

TRU is closer to me, I have already paid for my seat, and I have family in the area.

Manitoba has better housing prices, I have a part-time work opportunity to keep my current job while in school, and it is a larger city.

I was leaning towards TRU because the closeness makes it easier, but I spoke with a law school/career consultant (based out of Ontario) and they recommended choosing a school in a larger city specifically because I would like to pursue intellectual property.

Does anyone know much about either of these schools in terms of intellectual property law and careers? I have researched numbers of graduates and a lot of TRU graduates seem to go to Calgary, but I have had a tough time finding information regarding specializations.
