How much would on bad semester affect an application

Hi guys. Let's suppose someone averages about 3.85-3.9/4.0 per semester, but for their last semester they received a 3.4/4.0. The entire year's GPA would be 3.61/4.0, however, and their overall GPA would be 3.79/4.0 and B2 would be 3.89/4.0 (olsas). My question is, how poorly would that look on someone's application to, say, Queen's or Saskatchewan?

1) Look at how the school calculates GPA.
2) Calculate your GPA accordingly.
3) Look at their admission stats.

I'm not sure what else you want.
