Hi there,

I recently accepted a summer position at the Assistant Crown Attorney's Office in Ottawa as part of the Aboriginal Law Summer Student Program at MAG. I initially wanted MAG Civil but because of personal reasons I decided to stay in Ottawa and I was placed in this office.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience working in this office. I was wondering such things like: hours involved, what your typical day looked like, how many files in the Gladue court you were able to work on, whether you decided to pursue criminal law after this position or went another route, and some of the tasks you learned in this position that helped your future career.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
