Accepting an Offer

I have an offer from a law school that I am considering accepting, and while I am happy with this school and it was one of my main choices, I still haven't heard from the majority of the other schools I have applied to. Ideally, I want to make the decision to accept after knowing the decisions from the other schools, but the deadline to accept this offer is approaching.

If I go ahead and accept the offer and pay the non-refundable deposit, and I later hear back from another school that I would like to attend more, can I withdraw this acceptance? I know I would lose the deposit, but are there are any other issues with withdrawing after making an initial acceptance?

You'll be able to withdraw your acceptance. Losing the deposit is the only penalty.

If you're accepting an OLSAS offer make sure you provisionally accept (Not firm) so you can stay in contention at other ON schools.

I am in the same boat. Will likely accept before my March 31st deadline, accepting the fact that I may lost my deposit if I get an offer from a school I prefer.
