Queens vs Western

Hey everyone I've been trying to decide between these two schools to provisionally accept and I wanted to know your opinions about the differences between the two. I know corporate law is an area I'm interested in but I also want to keep my options open because I know that many people go into 1L thinking they are going to do one type of law and then end up finding another area they enjoyed. I am initially from London but rent isn't really a barrier if I move to Kingston. I would also like opinions on how people who may have studied or lived in Kingston enjoyed the city?

Any feedback is welcomed!

Both have good programs of about the same quality. Both have decent corporate placements. Western may be slightly higher but I contend that that’s because Queen’s send people to Ottawa and Government more often, not an indication of corporate student quality.

Kingston is more fun than London. So I’d personally choose Queen’s.

I would say the complete opposite, haha. Probably (definitely) more things to do in London, but regardless, both schools are good schools.

Hi Chef Justice!

I know that the provisional acceptance deadline has passed, but I wanted to let you know that I've studied at both schools and may be able to offer you some insight for the city/school you decided on! Feel free to send me a message if you are interested.
