Hi everyone, I have a quick question. If you have applied for an LLM, but have yet to be accepted, is that something you can/should list on a resume/cv when applying to a job?

The answer is pretty obviously no, is it not? Once you’re accepted, I guess it’s fine, but otherwise I’d be going around with Harvard and Yale all over my transcript because I spent the money to apply there.

How would you even write that?

University of X LLM............. 2022 (maybe) - 2024 (expected)(maybe)

You could maybe indicate that you applied on a cover letter to show interest/goals/potential issues with availability, but I still wouldn't until you get in.
