Hello!

I'm hoping to get some input on Osgoode v. Western. I'm from BC and have never even really been to Ontario so I have no idea which campus/city is better to live in. I really want to focus on corporate law and I know Western has a focus on Business Law, but I'm sure Osgoode would be good too. I also am thinking about trying to work in New York after grad and have heard that Osgoode would provide a better opportunity for that. I really care about where I would be living so as much insight on the two cities would be awesome.

All feedback is much appreciated!!

Going to Osgoode, you will be living in Toronto and going to school at York. You would be living in a huge city bustling with opportunity (covid-allowing) but attending a commuter school. There are pros and cons there.

Going to Western, you will be living in London. London is not even comparable to Toronto as a city - I am from Toronto and lived in London for seven years - however in my opinion it's a fantastic place to be a student.

You need to decide if you'd rather be at a commuter school in the suburbs of a big city, or at a very tight-knit school in London.

Good luck!
