Cumulative GPA (CGPA):3.64

Last two years (L2):3.75

Last three years (L3):3.71

Best two years (B2):3.75

Best three years (B3):3.71

New post with updated numbers now that I've used a GPA calculator recommended to me on this forum instead of just the OLSAS chart.

What are my chances at Ontario schools? Specifically Osgoode, UofT, Western, Windsor?

Should I take the LSAT again? What should I be PTing at before I take again, if I do?

Thanks!

Good chances for Osgoode and Western. Strong chances for Windsor. Very unlikely for UofT. You could re-write your LSAT if you really wanted to but with your stats, you'll get into an Ontario school. I would look into applying to Queens and Ottawa as well.

Thanks. My true goal is Osgoode and I know I'm hovering just around their median GPA and LSAT (according to PowerScore's 2021 data). I feel I have well-rounded softs and a good, narrative-based PS that I am constantly working on and tweaking. I'm hoping to write the LSAT again to boost that, though it's relieving to hear an admit tell me I have good chances with my stats as they are! I do appreciate that there are only so many spots and so it is good to apply at other Ontario schools, though!

No problem. I think Oz is a little more unpredictable compared to other schools, so I understand wanting to re-write for a little more security.

I agree, you will likely get into an Ontario school with your stats! And for Osgoode specifically, I also agree it can be a little hard to predict their admissions. But I’ve seen the LSAT median reported by Powerscore for Osgoode (161 which I think is around 79-80th percentile), and it’s a tad misleading. In Osgoode’s most recent viewbook linked here, they report a CGPA median of 3.7 and an LSAT median of the 86th percentile which is between a 163-164 now.

In general, I would caution against using Powerscore medians for any school to gauge chances, if you want reliable data go to each schools website. Also mainly because pretty much every school calculates GPA in a different way (i.e. CGPA vs L2, 4.0 vs 4.33) and the basic table on Powerscore doesn’t capture those nuances.

Anecdotally, I had very similar GPA stats to you, and when I got my first LSAT score it was a 160, and I chose to rewrite and it was absolutely the right decision. And I got into Oz!
