USask Deferring Acceptances

I just got an email from Usask stating that they too have sent out 12 more acceptances than they have seats. Very similar to TRU, but I like how they are handling this better.

They are offering all incoming 1L’s the chance to defer their acceptance until next year. They also state that if more students drop out over the summer, the amount of deferrals offered will be lower.

I’m assuming they sent this to all incoming 1Ls, did anybody else receive this email? Will you be deferring?

I received this email too. I really appreciate that they're still honouring all acceptances.

Personally I don't plan on deferring because I've been working for a few years since completing my BA and am eager to start law school. Worst case scenario, we have an extra 12 students in our year, best case is enough people defer or decline their offers and we are back to normal.

Thanks for letting me know! Same here, I am 100% still going! I also really appreciate them doing this, it also allows people who would have to normally “decline” their offer a chance to wait a while!
