TRU or Robson Hall?

I am a resident of BC and got admitted to TRU law and Robson Hall Law School. I am more inclined to live in BC due to weather. However, I am not sure which school is better. Since TRU is a new school I am not sure about it’s placement track. Eventually I want to practice in law in BC or Toronto. Also, TRU’s fee is almost double than Robson. Would Robson be worth moving? I would appreciate your thoughts.

My application is also under evaluation in University of Ottawa.

You should go to school where you want to practice. Given your circumstances, TRU is the better choice. TRU is a new school, yes, but they are placing students in Vancouver. Not as many as UBC or UVic, but more than UMan:

Here are the Toronto numbers as well:

It's always best to go to school where you want to practice for a variety of reasons, but I'd caution against assuming that there is a correlation between the number of students from a given school who get jobs in a given city and the actual odds of applicants from that school getting jobs in that city, especially when the school and city under consideration are in different provinces. These kinds of stats give no insight into the hire rate of applicants, and I doubt a significant number of UM students even apply for Vancouver jobs.

I do think that the odds of getting a job in Vancouver are better for a TRU law student than a UM student, but because it's a BC school, not because of the hiring stats.

Thank you for the wonderful insights. Also, I am unable to find placement stats for UM. If someone knows about it. Please drop a link.
