Chances? LSAT 161, GPA 4.02/4.33

Hey folks,

Got my first LSAT results: 161. Cumulative GPA 4.02/4.33 (last 20 credited courses, 4.12). Primarily looking at TRU, which looks at last 20 courses. 

I'm a registered nurse. Have a BA and BSN. I'm a local here in Kamloops where TRU is, long term resident (I'm 35). Have 1 yr as a Pride board member, was in a volunteer position throughout nursing school. Will have solid references. 

My chances for TRU? Other schools? (I prefer BC).

I got into TRU with almost the exact same stats

I have almost identical stats (162 LSAT, and approx. 4.0 L2) and was accepted with a scholarship to TRU! I would be shocked if you weren’t accepted next year 🙂 I’ll be attending TRU so if you have questions feel free to send me a private dm!

Thank you! I emailed TRU admissions last week. The advisor said "I strongly encourage you to apply" with a disclaimer that every application cycle is competitive and many factors are considered. 🙂

My GPA was 4.01, and I was accepted into TRU, so your chances are great, and you will succeed. By the way, now I am studying and getting a second higher education at asa miami college. I like it much more here than I once did at TRU. Apparently, since this is not yet a popular college that few people know about yet. There are not so many students here, the teachers are really interested in making qualified specialists out of us, and that's cool. I like it. Moreover, I started studying economics as I wanted to before, and now my dream has come true.
