Government Lawyer?

Hi! I hope this isn’t a silly question haha. I’m currently a 3rd year undergrad student studying for the LSAT with hopes of attending law school in ‘24. I’d really like to work in government to some capacity—I enjoy the environment and have made some good connections through a recent internship with an MLA, a summer job in the legislature, and a (soon to be starting) job as a page as well.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction to more information on what kind of roles I could work as a government lawyer (outside of criminal law)? Would I better off studying public/constitutional/administrative law, or pursuing a combined MPA/JD? Any help or thoughts would be so appreciated. Thank you!!
