Hello,

I will have articling interviews with Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Ministry of Indigenous Affairs, and Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries.

I am wondering what kinds of questions lawyers at these Ministries would ask during my interviews with them.

I have heard form my law school staff (I am a student at uOttawa law) that interviewers at these Ministries would test my awareness of governing legislation as well as the duties of the Ministries. I also heard that interviewers would ask about my perspectives on some (real or hypothetical) cases. Are these true?

Any advice or inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
