I am wondering if law schools will base decisions off of grades from the upcoming semester? Or only semesters that have ended as of Nov 1/deadline?

You will need to send in your Fall grades when you have them, and then again send your Winter grades once those are in.

If your application is reviewed before those grades are in and they decide that they need those grades to make a decision, they’ll wait for those grades. More likely, though, is that they don’t see your application until you’ve sent in at least your Fall grades anyway.

But, people do get accepted in December. In those cases, schools will only have grades from your previous years

I all the schools I applied to last year required Fall 2021 grades, and one accepted (not sure if actually required though) Winter 2022 grades.
