Articling in regional firms

I’m looking for insights on articling in regional (mid-sized) firms regarding training and salary. Thanks

Your question is too vague for anybody to provide useful advice.

Lawson Lundell, Cox & Palmer, and Learners are all regional firms, but their salaries are entirely different because they operate in different markets. Even within a market, salaries are going to vary. Lawson Lundell is a regional firm that pays market salaries in the regions it operates in, but other regional firms in those markets will pay less. 

The same is true for training. When you're dealing with smaller firms with fewer students, training is of ad hoc and largely dependent on the lawyers who provide training, in contrast to the large firms with established training programs. 

You need to narrow your question to get meaningful advice. At the very least, you need to specify what city/region you're asking about, and ideally you'll provide some example firms so people know what type of regional firm you're considering.

Sorry for not being clear enough, I was hoping to get more information regarding articling training and salary range of Toronto based regional firms  like Fogler Rubinoff, Beard Winters, Torkin Manes etc..

I think Torkin is slightly lower, and I wouldn't be surprised if Beard Winter was a lot less but that is a complete guess.
