do you get asked your immigration status in your law school apps?

My partner is sponsoring me for permanent residency (I'm currently on a PGWP). We submitted our application in September of this year and I'm hoping to apply to schools September 2023. However, with the current processing times my application will most likely not have gone through by that time - but it’s much more likely that I will have permanent residency by the time I’d actually start school in 2024. I'm not sure how I'd address this in my apps - do they ask for immigration status, and if so, proof of permanent residency / citizenship, or is that something that happens after you get in? I appreciate any help I can get on this, thank you in advance!
