Ottawa 2L Student/Articling Salaries

Is NALP accurate re what the big Ottawa firms pay for 2L summer/articling (about $1020/week / $53,000/year for articling)? Is there any indication that this will change anytime soon? Thanks

Yes it is accurate (generally speaking) and no indication it will change anytime soon. Associate salaries have started to go up though, and I know of at least two Ottawa big law firms that match their Toronto office pay for students.
