Retaking in January with November test score on file

Question about retaking the LSAT in January for this current cycle. I've seen a few similar questions on here, but I just want to clarify for this particular scenario. I am applying broadly to schools in BC, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario this cycle.

I recently took the November LSAT, and I honestly think I got a score I was hoping for (I have not received my results yet, of course). However, should I receive a score I was not hoping for but would still grant me admission to one of the schools I applied for, would that school still hold off on reviewing my application until they receive the January score, simply because I'm registered for a January retake?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide knowledge on this!

I took the October LSAT and decided to retake in January. I emailed the schools I applied to and told them I plan on retaking and they added that to my application portal.
