Hello there, I'm a graduate from UofT. Admittedly my stats are low, and I would like to gauge my chances. I have a significant upward trend in my GPA and worked throughout undergrad. My EC's include academic and peer mentoring, running mentorship portfolios, and coordinating a resettlement program for new Canadians. I also currently work as a consultant for the provincial government and endeavour to work in government law and policy. I have applied to UofC, UofA, UNB, and UofM. Would I have a realistic shot at any of these schools? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have too much information on UNB and UofM, but I've applied to UofA and UofC in the past. I think you have a solid chance for UofC since your ECs are strong and you have good work experience. Chances for UofA holistic round are pretty good, just make sure you really polish up your personal statement. You want it to reflect your passion and determination, definitely talk about how your work experience and ECs will make you a better lawyer.

All that being said, your LSAT score is below the competitive average for both of UofC and UofA. If time and financial resources permit, I would recommend taking the January LSAT to increase your chances at admission.

Overall, you are a solid candidate and I hope you find success this admission cycle!
