Calgary 1L recruit questions

Hello! 

I hope all my fellow 1Ls are doing well after our first law school exams. Damn, that was a grind and then some! 

Perhaps putting the horse before the cart because in the end I may not get any interviews, but for those who went through an in-person interview week:

1) What is the maximum number of different firms you would recommend interviewing with? I've heard some people say 4 is the max they would want to do, and some have said 7.

2) How much time should one block off for an interview including transit time? Seems like most of the firms I applied to are within a 5 minute Uber of each other in DT Calgary. In some cases, some of the firms I applied to are in the same building. Can anybody speak to who they interviewed with last year and how long the interview lasted?

3) Would anybody who got interviews at the 5 biggest firms mind discussing what grades they had? I've been hearing from many of my lawyer friends, and pretty much all of the recruiters, that grades are becoming less of a factor.
