Toronto Summer Student Salary (Expected)

Hi everyone

I was hoping to know what the summer salary is for second year law students in a a full service firm  of  approximately 15 lawyers/small size firm. Specifically, in Toronto and outside of Bay Street. 

If anyone has any knowledge based on their experience or a friend.

Also any recommendations on how to negotiate your summer salary would be great.

Try looking it up on Nalp, and assuming it's not there, trying looking up a comparable firm or two.

There aren't really any small firms on NALP.

I think a general range would be anywhere from $750-1500 per week. Most people I knew with jobs in Toronto at smaller firms were around $1000 per week (in that ballpark).
