Hi everyone 🙂

I will be accepting my offer to Osgoode for September 2023 and have been thinking ahead on whether I should purchase an iPad for school. Would this be a good idea? If not, what should I use for readings and making notes?

Thanks so much!

I know some people are big fans of the iPad route. I did notes by hand for a while but later transitioned to typing.

I don't think there's really a right or wrong way, just whatever helps you retain information best.

If time isn't an object handwriting notes and then typing your summaries would be my personal reccomendation.

I personally use a 2 in 1 laptop. So I can convert it into somewhat of a tablet when doing readings. I find that I end up doing this somewhat frequently, especially when I'm reading on the bus and the space is a bit tight. Then I just use it as a laptop to take notes during class. I'm sure an iPad would work well too
