U of A vs Dal for Vancouver

In terms of employment, does either school have an advantage over the other for the Vancouver market (specifically for biglaw)? Going through the recent UV reports for 2L recruits, it seems like Dal has an edge in number of students hired but not by a wide margin (except in 2021 where it was 10 vs 3 but there seems to be a lot of missing reports for that edition https://ultravires.ca/2021/11/vancouver-2022-2l-summer-recruitment-numbers/). I know Dal is a national school so these numbers aren’t super surprising but wouldn’t Alberta’s proximity to Vancouver also help with networking and interviews?

I am from BC so Edmonton would be a simpler and cheaper move and living situation but I wouldn’t mind going to Halifax if it meant better employment potential. I still haven’t heard from the BC schools I applied to and the deposit deadline is coming up.

I would really appreciate some input and thank you in advance!
