Mature student with relevant work experience in policy and legislation. LSAT went poorly, but wondering if anyone has insight if I am out of the running for my top two choices. Thanks!

If the CGPA is with drops, unfortunately I'd say you're out of the running at UVic. Doesn't appear to be anyone with that profile who was admitted in the last year for which stats are available: https://www.uvic.ca/law/assets/docs/lsat-gpa-demographic-chart-2021.pdf

I am not sure UVic makes much adjustment for mature students, work experience, etc. Can't rule it out completely, but since there's no "mature" category it's hard to say how it might help.

@TheDevilIKnow Yes, I had one drop in there. I figured this might be the case. I had a bit of a nightmare LSAT experience with connectivity issues but still stuck with the low score since it was the last day to do it, so definitely understand if I am out of the running for some schools. It's not the end of the world as have an offer at another Canadian school, but still hoping to hear back from Dal. Thanks for the response.

I was a very similar case. Mature student. 160 LSAT similar GPA. Corperate work experience and active in academia. I am now a 1L at Dal.

Considering your mature student status and work experience, assuming you have awesome references, and similar stats to my own, I'd say A or waitlist at Dal.
