Hi everyone!

Wanted to get a better sense of whether Toronto or Calgary is better for big law working in firms like BLG, BCG, McCarthy, Stikeman, etc.

Will be great for some insights where’s better based on different areas like income/benefits, promotion, living standards, and prospects for summer roles/articling roles for an easier comeback to the firm as an Associate.

Thanks everyone for the ongoing support!

I have neither lived (or spent any real time) or worked in either city.

That said, focus on where you want to live. Neither is “better” as far as work goes.

Also, unless there is a firm I’m unaware of BCG is a consulting firm, not a law firm.

For some reason 0Ls like to abbreviate Blakes Cassels Graydon as BCG, while everyone else calls it just "Blakes" or "fancy McDonald's"
