How much did you study for the Ontario Bar Exams and how difficult did you find them?

The Ontario bar Exams are very difficult. I sat for Texas bar few years ago, it was a walk in the park compared to Ontario bar. The breadth of knowledge and the speed required to solve questions needed for Ontario bar makes the exam hell on earth. I know many students from Top Canadian law schools like McGill and UoFt who failed multiple times - I Did not.

Hi everyone. I'm sitting down for the bar exam in June this year and came across this thread. @Apollo14 @ruthlessfox @Sparky @Geargia47 @Sunshine1900 @QueensDenning @LoganRoy @CertaintyOfTerms did you end up passing? Sorry for the personal question, but you all said that you felt that the exam was very hard so just trying to understand if this was just your sentiment after the exam or indeed the passing rates are not c.90% as advertised.

I passed as did the vast majority of people I know. Also know one really smart people who failed though.

The bar sucks, but articling is much, much worse 🫡
