Hello everyone. For those who have been accepted this 2023, have you received any information from the faculty yet about what our next steps should be? Any info on orientation dates, classes, that kind of thing. Thank you!

There was an email that went out to our UAlberta emails a few weeks ago that contained an incoming 1L newsletter and said that they would continue to send more information throughout the summer.

Join the Facebook group called "University of Alberta Law Class of 2026"! Upper-years will be posting a lot of info about upcoming events, deadlines, clubs, and other random advice. You're welcome to post questions you have, and we'll do our best to answer (upper years usually trip over themselves to help you if you ask). Right now some people are posting about looking for roommates. Generally, the Facebook group is a good resource to check when you need info about what's going on:)

More information is to come as well, the students' association is working on a guide to 1L to help provide info as well 🙂 like @fettuccinealfredo says, upper years are more than happy to answer questions and there are already posts from upper years welcoming incoming students to send a DM!
