Hi,

I checked the other posts and didn't see Dal vs UBC anywhere so I'm here to ask! I have no opinion on where in Canada I'd like to work, I just have connections to both Vancouver and Halifax. The major consideration for me is that I'd be going into Environmental Law since I have a background in contaminated sites remediation.

Thanks so much!

If you want to do enviro, I’d say def go to Dal (or uvic!).

Allard has almost no enviro classes (trust me, I’ve taken them all) and they are offered irregularly, and often my sessional instructors who don’t know how to teach.

I have two friends who went to Dal and are now working with me in Vancouver in big law jobs if you want me to ask them any questions for you!

Awe thank you so much! That’s super helpful. Do you know if they did the environmental law program? And if so, what types of jobs they got? I’ve heard awesome things about Dal tbh.

One did and didn’t. They are both doing big law corporate jobs in Vancouver. We’re all in our 2L summers!
