Hi I am applying to law school in my fourth year, my first year at university was okay, and second year was difficult as I had suffered some trauma.  However third year I was able to bounce back and get great marks, and I am expecting to get exceptional marks my fourth year.  My question is will universities, especially universities such Queens or Western who take your best two or last two years, will they wait to see my fourth year marks before making a decision, or will they reject/review me based off my first three years?

I personally didn't hear back from most schools until after my final grades were released. However, the adcoms often work in mysterious ways, and I imagine that it really depends on your current stats. If the adcoms think you wouldn't be competitive even if you received perfect grades in your final year, then obviously they would reject you beforehand. If you are competitive with your current stats, then obviously they would accept you beforehand. Regardless, my advice is to start studying for the LSAT as soon as possible! The best thing you can do to minimize the risk of getting rejected is to aim for the highest score possible without sacrificing your GPA.

Best of luck!
