Hey folks, I am an incoming 3L and I have been thinking about how I want to do a master's sometime post law school and have realized my law school GPA may screw me. In undergrad I had a 4.0 cGPA but in law school I had a 3.1 1L (All Bs to B+s) and a 3.6 (B+s to A+s) 2L. I am worried that if I don't have another 3.5+ year next year that I screw my chances of graduate school (post law school). While I could probably aim for a similar GPA again, it was a lot of work and I frankly would rather take 3L slightly easier than I did in 2L. Is law school GPA weighted the same when applying to a master's? Or is it just your undergraduate grades that matter?

I got my masters before law school but this is so degree and institution specific that we’d need more info to answer throughly!

I would be aiming for UofT probably or perhaps international, but somewhere competitive for sure. I am just curious of schools consider that law school is a different beast than undergrad in considering applications?
