Non-OCI Job Search Suggestions (2L)?

I'm now looking into firms that are hiring 2L students that did not take place in the OCI. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions how they did / are doing their search? 

I found a handful of firms that I want to apply to which have a deadline date early September, which I primarily found just by googling law firms on maps, going to their website and looking for student information. Def time consuming!

Most non OCI firms will only start recruiting after the formal recruit ends. So expect most new postings in late November, December and January. Then there will be another wave of postings near the end of the year in March and April.
