Recently hired from a biglaw firm on bay st. Not feeling great about it but was wondering how possible is it to move to another biglaw firm. I know recruiters talk amongst each other - I just want to know if my reputation has been tarnished and if its worth talking to other biglaw firms at this point?

Define "fired."

Exactly what that means. I've been let go by the firm due to cultural and behavioral differences

I'm not trying to kick you while you're down. Nor trying to get you to disclose identifiable info.

It's just that there's a big difference between an amicable, without cause, "unfortunately you're not the right fit for what this firm is looking for" and getting caught in your office sniffing blow off of an escort's body while embezzling funds. And if you're asking about reputational implications and prospects, these distinctions will matter to an extent that nobody can give you a meaningful answer without more to work with.

Firms talk and rumors spread. But frankly does it matter? What are you going to do, not apply anywhere? If they won't accept you they won't accept you but I think it'd be a mistake not too apply.

But spend your time preparing to answer why/how you left your previous firm. Because as I'm sure you know, even if they hadn't heard about why you left they will note the sudden departure and want to know why.
