Hello Everyone!

I enrolled myself with the LSO in August 2022. So technically, I have 3 years to complete the licensing, which is - Pass Solicitor and Barrister Exam, and complete my articling before June 2025.

My situation:

-I have cleared Solicitor exam; I have my last attempt left for Barrister.

-I am still searching for an articling position, however, I have applied for summer positions because I did not want to miss the opportunity.

Questions:

1. What if I pass my barrister and did not get my articling before 2025, do I have to again write my exams?

2. What if I do not clear my barrister, and wait till the start of my next licensing term to begin, do I have to write solicitor again?

I would be really grateful, If anybody can guide me on this.

Thanks!
