Hey everyone hate to be asking again but I am genuinely curious as no one replied and I am very stressed. So as you can see my stats are that I have a 3.42 CGPA from my undergrad and my LSAT was 160 but I am retaking it in october and hope to get a few scores up. I am currently volunteering at a law firm which I just recently started and may be starting another legal assistant position at the same time. Looking for any Canadian school. Was rejected from Windsor, Osgoode, TMU, and Ottawa last year but now trying to come back with expirience. Please let me know and thanks!

Hi!

Hope you're having a great weekend and sorry to hear the last cycle didn't work out for you. I think overall your situation looks quite positive, so keep trying!

Apply broadly, and even without improving your current stats, I think you're more likely than not to get in somewhere. I've seen a significant number of people getting in with worse numbers at several schools. Because you're willing to go to any school, I would apply everywhere. If the money for application fees is an issue, maybe leave out UofT and UBC.

That said, because you're currently likely to be on the bubble at most schools, LSAT points are huge for boosting your odds. I would strongly suggest taking the LSAT in November and January as well. Also, it would be great to be in a position where you have options.

Throw in a killer personal statement, and it's highly likely you'll be a law student this time next year.

Best of luck! 🙂

I don't know if this helps but I am applying this cycle too, similar stats (lower cgpa-3.33, same L2, higher LSAT- PTing at 166-168) and I have been told through this forum but also by the people I know through work, admissions, etc. that I've got a good shot at queens, TMU, Windsor, and maybe western which I think means you would too.
