I seem to be right on the median UBC reports but apparently that's under the 92 index threshold.

Any thoughts would be appreciated 🙂

If it'll help, I've also done an internship at a firm and done some volunteering in school and at a non-profit.

Hey,

Where are you calculating your index stats if you don’t mind me asking?

I have near identical stats and I was around a 92.5.

Hey,

I am using that one too - is your cGPA on a 4.0 scale or a 4.3 scale? This may be where the confusion is stemming from.

Oh, that makes sense. I'm using the UBC scale for everything, so my 83.1% at UofT translates to 3.85/4.33 at UBC.

Have you tried manually inputting your credits and marks into this calculator?: https://lsutil.azurewebsites.net/

My cGPA at U of T was only a bit higher than yours (3.9) but I landed at 85.31% - you shouldn't be that far off esp. with drops.

I did - I manually inputted my grades to apply for UBC and it came out as 3.85 on UBC's scale.

My UofT CGPA with drops is ~3.7, so 83% makes sense I think. A 3.9 at UofT is definitely more like your 85.31%.

I have almost similar stats. UBC is my dream school, so planning on retaking the November LSAT.

The median reported on the website seems to be out of date as its been the same reported for several years now. When looking at the most recent matriculants, the index for acceptance seems to fall closer to 93, applicants over 92 have a strong chance, and applicants under 92 seem to be on the unlikely side.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! I might have to just retake the LSAT then. LG was my worst by far so I'll probably wait for August when they remove it 🙂

Good luck on the Nov LSAT!

Does UofT transcripts no longer report percentage scores on each course? Because if you enter the percentage scores manually, the result could be much higher.
