At what point do participants in the Toronto structured recruit get call-backs for the second day of in-firms?

Some employers will schedule call-backs at the end of the first interview before the candidate leaves the office. In other cases, employers will email or phone candidates later in the day or evening inviting them back for a further interview.

Do candidates ever get call-backs in the morning of the second day?

If you haven't heard by the start of the second day then you're probably not getting a second day interview, unfortunately.

Depends when that firm concludes its slate of firsts.  For most firms, which try to get through them all on Monday, I agree that you should have heard by now.  There is no harm in reaching out to the firm you are interested in.
