Late post but I was accepted Dec 14th

OLSAS GPA 2.99 (Stay optimistic if you're applying with below-average GPAs!)

LSAT: 173

Bad softs during undergrad but 3 years of work experience after undergrad including a job at a law firm. I think my personal statement was strong.

Good luck to those still waiting for acceptance!

Congratulations! Can I ask if you applied to the regular admissions category?

Got the phone call around 2:30 today.

Applied general, 163, ~3.85 with drops, decent softs and a strong personal statement.

On my application I indicated that I would be re-writing my LSAT in January so I was a bit surprised to hear back so early. Will be accepting!!

Best of luck to those still waiting!

Praise God! Genuinely didn't expect an admit this early (if not at all) considering how competitive the climate of law school admissions has become. For a while now because of the information flying around lately it seemed like if you did not score a 165 your chances of admission at a top school were essentially slim to none. Got the call 2pm Victoria time, the admissions team are super nice.

Black applicant -  (From the Atlantics)
Undergrad Overall GPA: 3.6ish L2: 3.83

Also did a masters (not sure if that counts into the calculation) GPA: 3.8ish

LSAT: 153 (Most recent score Nov 2023)

ECs (I guess pretty unique?): Human rights work in my province, Very active in University (Senate, students union director, faculty student society vice-pres, etc) worked in 2 non-profits (social enterprise start ups and working with refugees) received a few awards from community/university etc for this work.

Incredibly honoured, humbled and thankful to God to be out here. I hope this gives people who aren't the "ideal candidate" or folks who don't fit the conventional mold of what a successful law school candidate is some hope going forward. Buzzing for September and a sunnier province!

- It really isn't over until its over.

Congrats! When did you take your LSAT if you don't mind me asking? Also, did you have a gpa eval? Thanks!

Thank you! I took the June 2023 LSAT and wrote only once. I'm not sure how they calculated my admissions GPA, but those were my stats from a university in Alberta. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Anyone who wrote the Jan LSAT have their application read “Additional item(s) required” yet the checklist is complete excluding official transcript?

I am assuming it’s the January scores that have yet to be updated ?

I wrote the Jan LSAT and my account said that for a little while but updated I think around Feb 2? Now it says "Application Under Review".

Thanks for the response. It still hasn’t changed for me which had me second guessing - did I miss something I’m not seeing !

Congrats! Did you get a gpa eval before your acceptance? I have really similar stats, 3.87/4.33 & 163 Jan LSAT. Went into gpa eval yesterday. Not sure if that is a good sign or not and so I wanted to ask if you got the gpa eval prior to the acceptance. Thanks!

Accepted on Friday by phone call. Current Undergrad with ~3.85 cGPA after drops, and 165 LSAT. 923 Index Score.

My status changed to "Application Under Review" or something like that in November and stayed the same until now.

Will be rejecting as I have accepted elsewhere.

Incredibly excited to have received an offer by phone this afternoon to the JD and JD/JID programs!

LSAT - 165 (Jan 24')

GPA - 3.98 (before drops)

I applied general but believe I had a strong personal statement and strong reference letters for the JD/JID program. Good luck to everyone!

Got the call today around 1pm. 163 LSAT, 4.0 GPA (with drops), strong softs imo. Very grateful. Fyi, if you applied to the JD/JID program, some As are apparently going out in the next couple weeks. This is my first A, won't be accepting until I hear about the JD/JID. Good luck everyone!.

What's is the March 11th event? Is that specific to the Inclusive Stream?

It is a meet up on campus for prospective students who have received an offer of admission for the JD or JD/JID program.
