Depends on the court. I assume you are looking in Ontario based on your profile:

ONSC - No, have to be in 2L

ONCA - No, have to be in 2L or 3L

FC, FCA, SCC - Yes, you can apply as an articling student

The applications due this coming January are for clerkships that start August 2025
