I got a call from an unknown number today and when I looked up the number it was a faculty member at UofT Law. I called them back but they didn't answer. Is this an admission call? Or are admission calls only from the UofT admissions office?

Phone call this morning around 10:45! She was so sweet and handled my crying well, lol.

CGPA 3.57

LSAT 170

Wrote the optional. I was always involved during undergrad both inside and outside of school. Worked throughout as well.

Feeling very blessed🥲 Congratulations everyone!!!

Can't imagine any other reason why they would call you. Look out for their email, it was sent during night time yesterday. The admission must be working overtime as well.

It was indeed an acceptance call, I just got the email!

I guess I can share my stats here:

Fourth year student at UofT studying business

GPA: 3.98 OLSAS cGPA

LSAT: 166

Pretty decent softs, was president of a law association in my third year and have done research work. I also wrote the optional essay.

good luck to everyone!

I am so shocked I don't even know what to say. I had to double-check to make sure the offer had my name on it. I really didn't think I'd be a first-wave acceptance (or that I'd get in at all tbh).

olsas cGPA: 3.51

B3: 3.89

lsat: 168

I wrote the optional essay about a personal experience with the justice system. My softs are pretty strong, and I think my statement was probably what pushed me over the edge.

So excited! Definitely a sign for others that they've got a shot even without a stellar cGPA.

Got the email today ! Currently finishing an M.Sc degree. Here are my stats:

b3 ~3.82, cGpa ~ 3.75 in undergrad

lsat 168

I believe I had strong softs including work in a legal department, and participation and leadership in clubs.

So excited !

Good luck to all, and congrats to those accepted !

Congrats! I'm at UTM business and was wondering if you dont mind sharing what kind of research work you did (was it law-related)? I didn't manage to get in first round and I have a similar background with some research with the crim law & society dept

Hi! Sorry for just getting back now. I am at the St. George campus (Rotman Commerce) and I worked at the BEAR centre (Behavioural Economics in Action at Rotman) for a summer. So my research was mostly focused in behavioral economics. If you have any other questions, let me know! I'd be happy to help.

I got an acceptance email on the 13th. Think I got notified by email instead of a phone call since I’m out of the country and the numbers on file aren’t reachable.

CGPA 3.87 / LSAT 164

I have been working at a law firm while in school for about a year and worked throughout my undergrad. Average extracurriculars and and volunteer experience. I applied on the deadline, November 1.

Good luck to everyone!!!
