Average softs, average recommendation letters and a decent personal statement.

I should add that I've applied to Dalhousie, Saskatchewan, UofT, TMU, Osgoode, Western, Windsor, uOttawa and Queens.

I'd say you have a pretty good chance of getting into at least some of those schools. Your LSAT is above average across the board (except UofT). The only thing is that your cGPA is a bit below average for most schools. However, schools that consider L2 will put you at a competitive level, such as Dalhousie. I got into Dal with a 161 LSAT last week so I imagine you should hear back relatively soon.

I'm by no means an expert with admissions stuff, but from what I've heard and seen I think you have a very good chance of going to law school next year 🙂

Good luck!!

Thank you! Can I ask what your CGPA is and when you submitted your Dalhousie application?

Ofcourse! My cGPA is 3.87/4.0 (not entirely sure what that translates to in 4.3 but I think it's around 4.0-4.1) and my L2 is pretty much the same value.
