Research Assistant for Professors

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone here worked as a research assistant (RA) to a prof for their 2L summer. My main questions are how does the experience translate into skills that could be leveraged when looking for articling (of course, legal research and writing being the main skill set), and second how competitive is the position - as a 2L, I would be competing with 1Ls. My grades aren’t the strongest (B average) but as a 2L I believe I possess a greater knowledge and skill set that I’ve developed longer than 1Ls have at this time (having done more moots and other experiences).
