Hi,

I was wondering if any McGill students have received needs-based financial assistance? I know UofT, for example, is very generous, but I was wondering what a low-income admittee can except in terms of this sort of assistance (in addition to, of course, the entrance scholarships).

Don't rely on much, if any. McGill's financial aid is known to be poorly funded and stingy.

Would like to provide an update, in the event that any other low-income (in my case, family income <50k) applicants would like an idea re: McGill's financial aid. I received 5k, which was definitely more than I expected, so I am pleasantly surprised.
