It's accurate. If you want to double check manually, you just convert each of your grades to the corresponding OLSAS grade for your school and then do a weighted average.

Pretty accurate as long as you include all the courses you got grades in. People usually get bamboozled when they get the OLSAS cGPA in December because they haven't done that. Include ALL the courses you got grades in, even the ones you retook because you wanted a higher grade in the class because the first class would still be included in the OLSAS calculation.
