If I switched to a different university after completing my third year, will the grades I received at my initial university be included in the calculation of my GPA?

I transferred to another university after my third year, and at my new institution, my cumulative GPA was reset. After spending an additional three years at my new school, how would my GPA be calculated? Would the grades from my first institution be taken into account for my application?
