Scholarships

Hello everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone happens to know anything about scholarships for entering 1L JD Students? Has the application already closed or will it open sometime in the summer? I am just curious.

Going off of this page (https://law.usask.ca/students/jd-students/new-to-law.php#EntranceScholarships), I think there's only 3 entrance scholarships that incoming first year students can apply for, with incoming students being automatically considered for the rest. The 3 with applications are quite narrow/specific, but there are a lot of other entrance scholarships listed.

It also sounds like first year students aren't notified about entrance scholarships until September too...If you read the blurb right under 'Entrance Scholarships' at the bottom, it says "These recipients are normally informed of their achievement in September" and I'm pretty sure they're referring to all of the first year entrance scholarships.

In your first year, there is a call for bursaries which I found very helpful. If memory serves me right, they give out between $1,000 - $3,000 per semester.
