UBC vs UVIC: Social Life?

I know this might seem like a silly question to most, and I obviously know that quality of education/opportunities is much much more important – but I also really struggle in these aspects when I don’t have a good social life/support system. 
 

I have always been super social and I personally feel it’s an incredibly important aspect when picking a school for me.
 

Wondering if anyone has insight into social life at both schools? Is there a lot of socializing, non-law recreation, generally enjoying life outside of school etc.? I’d love to hear what people’s experience has been at both!
