Accepting an Offer and then Rejecting

Hi!

I am just wondering: if you have already accepted and paid your deposit (for your spot) at one of the Canadian law schools, and then you accept an offer to attend a different school (that offered later), do you just lose your deposit from the first school or are there any other repercussions?

While I feel badly for asking, unfortunately my top choices seem to be offering at different times. Appreciate the feedback thanks.

The only real consequence is you lose your deposit. It won't have an effect on your law school journey or legal career - schools understand the predicament you're in.

You should keep in mind that firmly accepting an offer to an OLSAS school will kick you out of contention at other OLSAS schools, but otherwise accepting an offer won't change your chances at getting into another school.
