Feeling relieved to be able to start this thread and not the rejection one! WL notice in portal dated yesterday 3/26. Was losing my mind with no news from any school I applied to, and thought Osgoode was a long shot so this is still exciting despite the fact that there are slim chances I get out of the pool!

Stats: 3.25, 163, filled out part B (and applied access at other schools).

Can I ask how did you guys find out? I’m also quite concerned since I didn’t get any sort of status update other than queue. Should that be concerning?

If it is any comfort, I am currently in queue as well, since Feb 5.

You'll see a new message on the osgoode portal. There wasn't an email notification or anything

Just checked the portal, dated April 9th.
165 LSAT, 3.15 OLSAS CGPA, B2/L2 are probably in the 3.15-3.2x range. Wrote the optional essay.
Solid softs and work experience, strong LORs, and I think my PS was quite compelling.

I was waitlisted at osgoode a month ago , but have received offers from other schools. They gave me two weeks to accept the offer.  osgoode is my number one choice can i email them telling them about my offers in hope of seeing where i am on the waitlist? Anyone have any advice? Pls

You can try, it isn't a ranked waitlist (in the sense that it isnt a numerical hierarchy they can just pull up) so I don't think you'll get much information from them.

Honestly, wait a little but take the other offer. Even if Osgoode told you that you were very high on the waitlist, I'd still say take the other offer. It isn't worth it otherwise.

Some law schools are willing to give extensions on the deadlines that they give out for accepting an offer. You can always reach out to them and ask for an extension if you’re holding out for Osgoode, though not sure how long of an extension (if any) you will get.
