I have provisionally accepted an offer to an Ontario law school but have been placed on the waitlist for osgoode. I know my decision becomes firm after july 1st, but I'm wondering if
Osgoode will still keep me on their waitlist, despite my firm acceptance at another school.

thanks in advance!

No. Osgoode will not keep you on their waitlist once your acceptance becomes firm at another Ontario school. Once an acceptance becomes firm at another Ontario school, OLSAS removes you from consideration for other schools.
