Disclosing Epilepsy for Access

Hello everyone,

I don't know exactly when I will apply but I wanted to ask about accessibility claims. During the beginning of my uni journey I was diagnosed with Epilepsy and the same year I ended up having a great GPA cause I forced myself to work so hard despite the insane pain. I even bad full seizures right after submitting exams. I also got a max scholarship for my GPA the year I was diagnosed. Now as I'm nearing the end of my degree I still have epilepsy but it's nowhere near it being constant where school is the culprit and it's much more rare for me and by the time I apply it should be even more rare. Should I disclose this or do you think it will hurt my application? I feel like I can talk a lot about it and overcoming it because it was truly a struggle where I bore the worst doing my uni experience.  I just don't know if admissions will discriminate based off of it which kind of worries me. Or they will just throw out the accessibility claim. This is because I ended up having like a 3.95/4 GPA in the year I was diagnosed. I don't know about my next few years though but I hope I can stay competitive.

Thanks,

E. 🙂
